This year, we are reviewing the strategy for the Crofting Connections programme to make sure it will thrive over the next few years.
Soil Association Scotland has offered the lead partner role, which involves management and delivery of the project, to the Scottish Crofting Federation, which has been an excellent supporting partner over the years. Soil Association Scotland will remain closely involved with Crofting Connections, maintaining a presence on the project steering group and offering further support in the new phase.
In the light of this development, we have consulted with key stakeholders on the future of Crofting Connections, to ensure there is a clear vision for the next few years. Many of you who have been involved with the project have taken the time to fill in the online survey, thank you.
Initial results from this were fed into a workshop we hosted in Inverness on 4th November and reported to another meeting in Edinburgh on 25th November.
News on the next stages will be available here soon.
