Getting excited about seeds
Posted: 13/05/2013

This year schools not only have received seeds for cereals old and new but also some legumes so children can explore the full soil cycle.

This year we have sent you a selection of heritage and modern cereals and legumes grown on the croft, giving a context for the study of how these crops complement each other in the soil, in the feed trough and on the dinner plate. This relationship was recognised before science verified its importance.

We look forward to receiving news and pictures of your cereals and legumes.
